Nacirema (American spelled backwards) is making huge strides in their short existence as a band. With Devin Ingelido (former Versa Emerge) as their manager, the group has had immediate attention from fans and industry professionals alike. The band just finished in the studio with their debut EP "Prophecies. Engineered by Lee Dyess (From First to Last) and mixed by Stephan Hawke (Vanna) the three song digital release is scheduled to drop March 2012. Despite their syncopated rhythms, intricate guitar leads, and in your face vocals, Nacirema has a message as unique as its name. The lyrics are packed with powerful subject matter that intends to open the listeners eyes to the backwards thinking and lifestyles we as a society have become comfortable with. The EP entitled "Prophecies" addresses deep topics such as loss, corruption, religion, and finding strength in one's self.
